Noraebang
Yong Duk Young and Hyunji Chung are two young entrepreneurs from Seoul and are the owners of thirty noraebang facilities. They are not the only ones who have invested in this type of business.
A true social phenomenon, since 2012 young Koreans have been going to these facilities in the afternoon/evening, normally with a few friends, but also with their family or alone, not only for fun, but to vent their stress.
The noraebang are easily identifiable because they are indicated by colorful illuminated signs, which normally consist of inflatables positioned at the entrance. They are usually built in an underground floor and have several rooms where everyone is free to go and sing without being heard by others. The structures are interesting, such as those opened by the two protagonists of the story, called "Coin Karaoke" where you can use credit cards or cash, using the available room independently without the help of staff.
Perfectly soundproofed, in these rooms you can also order food and can be used for a single song, or for a few hours. They have a sofa, which can be for two people up to a maximum of nine, a television, a special remote control to select music with lyrics, microphones and speakers.
