About:
Marika Ramunno is a photographer and filmmaker, born in 1991 in Puglia, Italy.
She works as a freelance artist in both photography and film, while pursuing a personal artistic research alongside her professional work. Through photography and other media, her practice explores the relationship between humans and nature and the subtle boundary between reality and fiction, creating images that appear real but are never entirely so.
She founded Ombra Magazine, an independent photography magazine, and Una scelta necessaria is her first documentary.
